Welcome to Paradise, and welcome to my blog!
This is my first contribution, so I will share a story I love to tell to folks wanting to move here in our amazing community. As you all know, I am a Realtor with Coldwell Banker, but when I first started looking to move here, about 12 years ago, I used to drive through several times a month, as we all did, and one time I was walking around a new home just on the market and the lady next door spotted me, walked over and happily said “Welcome to Paradise”! Wasn’t that sweet? As I continued on about my searching a nice man saw me and said “You will love it here in Paradise!” “Okay”, I thought, “another happy resident”. Well, by the time the third lady engaged me in conversation and said “Welcome to Paradise” I thought “Oh my, these people are all drinking the same Kool-Aid…this must be a cult”!! So, I decided to join!! As we all know, it is our idea of Paradise–perfect weather, no smog, no congestion, wonderful neighbors, a beautiful and tranquil setting, lots of exciting events, and a beach and Harbor close by! This is my piece of Paradise, and what a place to enjoy every minute of every day…
