Why would I want to live in a senior community?

This is a question I hear when I show property in senior communities. I am not referring to Assisted Living or Nursing Homes. I am referring to Manufactured Homes located in a park. If you like peace and quiet, neighbors in your age group, planned activities, security and a serene environment, you might want to consider a senior community. As a Realtor, specializing in Senior Living, I find most senior communities offer gorgeous living conditions and amenities such as heated pools, hot tubs, well-stocked libraries, clubhouse for activities, fitness centers, specialized groups such as gourmet cooking classes, art classes, exercise and Tai-Chi, walking groups, as well as book clubs, acting and little Theatre groups, bike and car clubs, and, of course, golf!

Personally, I find that living in a senior community is a “good fit” for me. I enjoy the elegant surroundings and many of the activities. My grandchildren are welcome to visit for weeks at a time, then they go home to their parents!

When I did NOT reside in a Senior Community, I had the mistaken idea that they were comprised of a bunch of really elderly people with nothing to do but sit around and complain. Nope, not the case! You can be as active as you want to be, join a plethora of clubs and focus groups, or you can just relax and enjoy the peaceful surroundings. Check it out!

As always, Call or text me–I am here and ready to assist you in finding your dreamy beach getaway.
