1. THE BEACH!! The beach lifestyle-casual, easy, cool and breezy! Average temp about 79 degrees.
2. My neighbors are the most loving, helpful and thoughtful people I have ever met. When I had a knee replacement they drove me to and from doctors and Physical Therapy, brought me breakfast, lunch and dinner, shopped for me, and checked in on me.
3. Activities within the park. Exercise classes such as Tai Chi, Yoga, Pilates, line dancing, etc. We offer a golf club, Little Theater, events such as Super Bowl big screening plus party, Oscar night screening and party afterwards, Holiday parties, New Years Eve bash, 3 free breakfasts per year or more, and so much more. You are never bored, unless you want to be!
4. Convenient location! Walking distance to the beach, the lovely shops and boutiques in the Marina Village, as well as the restaurants such as Brophy Bros., The Waterside, The Greek, etc. Ride bikes along the coast or take the bike paths to downtown Ventura, Ojai, etc. 20 minute drive to gorgeous Santa Barbara, Carpinteria and Ojai.
5. Affordable! You get a lot for your $$! All of the above, plus a gorgeous home, and one which will appreciate in value, especially in Ventura Marina Community. I really enjoy living in a “senior park” with folks in my age category. Make friends easily, and have groups to walk with, bike with, walk dogs together, and just sit on the deck and enjoy the spectacular sunsets!
